June Favorites

These are my June Favorites!

This month I want to highlight four of my favorite recipes that I have already shared with you but that I believe deserve another mention because they are just so dang good!

My first of June Favorites comes from my Savory Series of Quick Lunches back toward the beginning of the year. This recipe deserves a highlight because it is a staple at any summer BBQ and is so quick and easy to throw together.

Guacamole is the perfect addition to any BBQ spread! It goes well with just about any entree at a barbeque.

Burgers? Throw a little on top.

Tacos? Of course!

Appetizer? Chips and Guacamole are always a crowd pleaser.

Why spend the money buying store-bought guacamole when you can invest a little bit of time for a whole lot better outcome? Homemade guacamole is so much better than store bought. It is fresh, more flavorful, and can be as spicy or as mild as you desire.

Guacamole is so versatile, my family uses is at breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even as a snack. Once we ventured outside of just tortilla chips and guacamole, our world opened like an oyster!

We now have numerous different dishes that all have been enhanced with guacamole usage! We top our breakfast scramble with guacamole; We toss guacamole in a wrap with meat and cheese; we top our burgers with guacamole; We dip crackers, chips, and pita bread in guacamole as an appetizer.

Guacamole has so many uses in our household and, like a mentioned, is such a staple at any barbeque gathering this summer. I just had to re-highlight this recipe so that ya’ll could give it a good try this summer!
